nature's comfort
When grief descends like a heavy rain,
And sorrow pours like a mighty flood,
I seek refuge in nature's domain,
In the beauty of the woods.
The trees stand tall and serene,
Their branches sway in the breeze,
Their leaves rustle like a soothing hymn,
As if to offer me peace.
The birds sing a mournful tune,
Their melodies touch my soul,
Their sorrow echoes mine,
And I feel less alone.
The river flows endlessly,
Its current strong and sure,
A reminder that life goes on,
Even when it feels obscure.
The sky paints a canvas of colors,
As the sun sets in the west,
A bittersweet moment of beauty,
A reminder that life is a test.
In nature, I find solace,
In her embrace, I find release,
For though grief may linger,
Nature reminds me of peace.
